Success! Free Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery Medical Outreach at BaliMed Karangasem Runs Smoothly

Yayasan Senyum Bali has successfully completed another free surgery program (medical outreach) for cleft lip and palate (CLP) treatment. This event was held at BaliMed Karangasem, starting with the screening phase on July 24, surgical procedures on July 25, and the recovery period on July 26. Thankfully, all patients have now been discharged in good and safe condition.

Collaboration of the Medical Team and All Staff on Duty The success of this humanitarian mission is the result of solid cooperation between the Yayasan Senyum Bali team who traveled directly to Karangasem, and the entire medical team and staff of BaliMed Karangasem Hospital who worked directly alongside us:

• dr. A.A.I. Yulan Permatasari, Sp.B.P.R.E, Subsp.K.M.(K) – The plastic surgeon who performed the surgeries.

• dr. Putu Ugi Sugandha, Sp.An – The anesthesiologist who assisted during the surgeries.

• Ns. I Wayan Sudarsana, S.Kep – The instrument nurse (scrub nurse) who assisted during the surgical procedures.

• I Nyoman Sukartama – The nurse who assisted with anesthesia.

• Medical Team & All Staff of BaliMed Karangasem Hospital – Who dedicated their time, energy, and facilities to ensure the success of this entire series of medical procedures.
