Spooky Fun and Generous Hearts at Taruwara Primary School & Rumah Kecil Anniversary

A Colorful Anniversary Celebration with a Halloween Twist  Last Friday was a truly memorable and colorful day. Taruwara Primary School and Rumah Kecil Kids Learning Center celebrated their anniversary by hosting a special event featuring a Halloween costume theme. The students showed up with incredible enthusiasm, dressing up in creative and unique costumes that made the celebration vibrant, warm, and full of laughter.

Smile Charity Shop's Annual Booth Appearance  During this wonderful celebration, the Smile Foundation of Bali (through our Smile Charity Shop) was once again honored to set up a booth. Being part of Taruwara Primary School and Rumah Kecil’s events has become a cherished tradition, as we are invited almost every year to join their anniversary festivities. Interacting directly with the cheerful students, parents, and school staff always brings immense positive energy to our team.

An Outpouring of Donations and Care for Our Patients

Beyond the fun and games, this event also showcased the incredible social awareness of the school community. We received an outpouring of generous donations from parents, students, teachers, and school staff. The contributions included essential supplies such as milk for nutrition, groceries, and diapers. These items are highly needed by the underprivileged children recovering from surgeries at Smile House.

The Smile Foundation of Bali extends our deepest gratitude to the entire Taruwara Primary School and Rumah Kecil Kids Learning Center family. Your kindness and your initiative to always include us in your celebrations mean the world to our ongoing mission of bringing smiles back to the children of Indonesia.
