Senyum Update #79: Yayasan Senyum Bali Celebrates 21 Years of Smiles

We are thrilled to share the 79th edition of the Senyum Update, which highlights the journey and programs of Yayasan Senyum Bali from July to September 2026. This quarter, Yayasan Senyum Bali continued to strengthen our commitment to providing accessible craniofacial care and free cleft surgeries for children in need.
Here are the key highlights from this edition: 1. Yayasan Senyum Bali’s Medical Outreach in Karangase
To bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas, Yayasan Senyum Bali conducted a Medical Outreach program in Karangasem, East Bali. Through this proactive mission, the Yayasan Senyum Bali medical team performed direct community screenings to ensure children received proper evaluations and surgical referrals.
2. Celebrating 21 Years of Yayasan Senyum Bali
August brought a truly emotional and proud milestone for us. Yayasan Senyum Bali officially celebrated 21 years of transforming thousands of lives. This anniversary serves as a beautiful reminder that every new smile created by Yayasan Senyum Bali is the result of collective kindness.
3. Yayasan Senyum Bali’s Smile House Garage Sale
As part of our commitment to financial sustainability, we hosted the "Shop for a Cause" garage sale. The incredible support from the community helped cover the operational costs of Yayasan Senyum Bali. It is proof that pre-loved items can be transformed into a bridge of hope.
4. A Yayasan Senyum Bali Patient Story: Bastian’s Resilience
We share the inspiring story of Bastian, who has now reached the final step of his healing journey with Yayasan Senyum Bali. After enduring a long series of treatments, Bastian is now ready to face the future with a brand new smile.
5. Yayasan Senyum Bali’s Speech Therapy Program Batch 6
Between July 3 and August 11, 2026, Yayasan Senyum Bali successfully held the Speech Therapy Program Batch 6. This program is specifically designed to help post-surgery patients develop clear speaking patterns and communicate with pride.
