Yayasan Senyum is a non-profit, independent organization working to bring health care to people with craniofacial disabilities.
These disabilities include cleft lip and palate and a wide variety of other conditions such as Goldenhar Syndrome, Apert Syndrome, tumours and accident trauma.

Our Work
We raise funds and organise:
- outreach to locate people with craniofacial conditions needing treatment, including establishing partnerships with other organisations in the field;
- operations both local and international;
- support for patients including transport, accommodation and food;
- help for patients in obtaining necessary documents for operations;
- obtaining passports, visas and flights for patients going to Australia for operations;
We are also responsible for recalling patients for second operations, check-ups and treatment. A high percentage of cleft lip patients also need other operations for cleft palate or dental, speech and hearing problems.
We liaise with Prof David David of the Australian Craniofacial Unit, organise twice-yearly clinics in Bali and ongoing operations in Adelaide.
